The Go! Team released their sophomore album earlier in 2007 and have successfully followed up their debut album. Their distinct style that includes some nasty drum beats, thumping bass, and the rap/singing/cheerleader-esque chanting of vocalist Ninja always catches my ears. They featured a lot of guest appearances on the new album and most notably, the Chuck D. song entitled Flashlight Fight is great. It combines the vintage go! team sound with the lyricism of Chuck D. that we all know he is famous for. The actual lyrics are drowned out in the sound of the actual band, but the song somehow works. Here are a couple of my favorite tracks off the newest album, and luckily most of them are singles.
